Fatal Crash on SR-278
On Saturday, July 1, 2023, an Isuzu Trooper SUV was traveling southbound on SR-279 at mile marker 3. The Isuzu went off the road to the right, and up a slight embankment before rolling several times. The Isuzu came to rest on its top in the northbound travel lane. The female driver and only occupant died at the scene.
