Duchesne County Fatal Crash (Correction)

Monday February 13, 2023

On Monday, February 13, 2023, at approximately 06:44 am, a 2022 grey Hyundai Kona was traveling east on Sr-40 mm 103 near Myton, Utah.  A 2004 white Peterbilt hot oil truck was traveling west at the same location.  The driver of the hot oil truck drifted into the eastbound lane and stuck the Hyundai Kona head-on.  The 32-year-old female driver of the Hyundai was killed on impact, and the driver of the hot oil truck was uninjured. 

Lane closures were in place for approximately 2 hours during the investigation.
