UHP Troopers stop Amber Alert vehicle out of Colorado

Wednesday November 24, 2021

On Wednesday November 24, 2021 at about 3:34 pm, an attempt to locate (ATL) for possible Amber Alert on a subject with a child was traveling westbound on I-70 just outside of Green River. Troopers coordinated with several officers to set spikes in case the subject fled. A UHP sergeant located the vehicle near MP 63 and when he got behind the vehicle it initially sped up to near 100 MPH. As they got near the other officers and initiated a traffic stop, the subject pulled right over and he was taken into custody without incident. The female juivenile was also found in the vehicle. UHP is coordinating with Aurora Colorado Police in this case.

For information regarding the initial incident, see the Amber Alert issued out of Colorado.
