UHP “Fill the Hive- with School Supplies”
Utah Highway Patrol Troopers need the public’s assistance – but it’s not for what you would normally expect. Instead of crime tips, they’re looking for donations for school supplies to help students K-12 get the supplies they need for the upcoming school year.
Starting today, August 4th through August 31st, all Utah Highway Patrol Offices will be accepting any new school items a student K-12 might need. Items include:
Backpacks
Calculator
Pencils
Markers
Colored Pencils
Highlighters
Glue
Rulers
Notebooks
Scissors
Folders
Erasers
Binders
Mechanical Pencils
Crayons
Lunch Boxes
This effort is to help support the community and get supplies out to those in need.
WHEN: August 4, 2021 through August 31, 3021
WHERE: All UHP Section Office see link for locations https://highwaypatrol.utah.gov/uhp-offices/
VISUALS: Troopers will pass out items to students K-12 at a later date TBD.
