Trooper Involved Crash I-15, Juab County

Saturday February 3, 2024

Juab County- On February 3, 2024, at 12:45 PM, a UHP Trooper was sitting in his patrol car on the inside shoulder of I-15 near mile marker 215, working on a crash. A passenger vehicle traveling northbound lost control and slid into the back of the Trooper patrol car.  There were four occupants in the passenger car, all were transported to the hospital in varying condition. the driver and the front passenger are in critical condition. The UHP Trooper was evaluated at the hospital and released.

Juab County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash along with Utah County’s Major Crash Investigation Team for accident re-construction. Northbound lanes were closed for a period of time and have since opened.
