SR-6 fatal crash near Soldier Summit. (Pictures)
On Saturday, October 22, 2022, at about 6:40 pm, Troopers responded to a head-on collision crash on SR-6 near mile marker 211. It was raining/snowing, and the roadways were wet. A gray Toyota Corolla was eastbound, and a Ford F-350 hauling a fifth-wheel camper was westbound. The Corolla left its lane to the left and ran head-on with the F-350. The single-occupant driver (an 18-year-old female) sustained fatal injuries on impact.
