SR-201 Fatal Semi Truck Crash*** Updated
West Valley City – August 30, 2021, at approximately 10:00am UHP dispatch center received two calls of a hazardous semi driving 3-5 miles per hour on SR-201 westbound at 5600 West. Shortly after, they received a call of a crash. A semi in the right lane rear-ended the other, slow driving semi. The driver of the second semi was pronounced dead on scene by the fire department. SR-201 westbound has been closed since 10:24am and traffic has been diverted to 5600 West.
The driver of the Semi has been identified as Al Fhuere, 29, of Nebraska.
