Tuesday September 7, 2021

On Tuesday September 7, 2021 at about 5:53 am, a Chevy truck was traveling north on I-15 in the area of MM272. It appears the driver of the vehicle steered through the gore area for the northbound exit 273 off-ramp but lost control and hit the concrete barrier on the right shoulder of the ramp. The driver of the truck was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected in the collision. There were no other occupants in the vehicle. The Chevy continued down the barrier for several hundred feet before coming to a stop in the emergency lane. The adult male driver sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene.
