Rollover crash in Davis County kills one.

On Monday, March 28, 2022, at about 9:45 pm, a dark blue Dodge Grand Caravan was traveling southbound on I-15 prior to 5th South in West Bountiful. A witness stated he saw the Dodge suddenly exit off the freeway to the 5th South off-ramp, cut slightly through the gore, back onto the off-ramp. The driver overcorrected and rolled over several times in the weeded area between the off-ramp and main flow. The Dodge was occupied by three. An adult female driver, an adult male passenger, and a 13-year-old female passenger. The driver died as a result of her injuries. The male passenger was ejected and sustained severe injuries. Both the male passenger and the 13-year-old with minor injuries were transported to local hospitals. The off-ramp was closed for approximately 3 hours.

Investigators are still currently working to determine what factors contributed to this crash.
