Multiple crashes Point of the Mountain to American Fork with Trooper involved accident

There are dozens of crashes due to black ice from Mile 275 to Mile 287 on I-15 in both directions. Troopers are handling them as fast as they can. Avoid the area, slow down. If you are involved in an accident, move off the road to the nearest exit if you are able. UHP Trooper was involved in a property damage crash. The vehicle was hit while the trooper was doing traffic control at Mile 286, I-15, southbound. The trooper was out of his vehicle and was not injured.
