Over the July 4th weekend Troopers were out in full force stopping DUI drivers and reminding drivers to slow down and buckle up.
From July 2nd – 5th Troopers handled:
Total Stops: 3,926
Seatbelt citations: 161
Speeds over 100 mph: 78
Speeding: 2,004
DUI Arrest: 71
Crashes: 163, 1 Fatality
Alcohol Related Crashes: 5
Reckless Driver Calls: 92
Over the same weekend in 2020 Troopers handled:
2728 Total Stops
46 DUI Arrest
126 Crashes1 Fatality
