I’m a Trooper and a Mother

Sunday May 10, 2020
Nine pictures show female troopers performing their jobs and then posing for pictures with their families.

“My advice to women considering a career in law enforcement? Do it…because you can have it all.”

Trooper Kunz

We want to recognize – in particular on Mother’s Day – our Utah Highway Patrol Troopers who are also mothers.

Balancing being a state trooper with motherhood isn’t an easy thing. But these women have nerves of steel and are exactly who you would want to have show up if you or a family member are involved in a crisis.

Trooper Bonnie Kunz shares her experiences as a mother of 6 during her 14 year career with UHP.
