I-80 Fatal Crash in Tooele Co.
On Saturday May 7, 2022, UHP Troopers in Tooele County responded to a single vehicle crash on I-80. Around 7:25 am a 2006 Volvo S60 was eastbound near milepost 56. The passenger vehicle left the roadway to the right and struck a crash attenuator. The driver, who was the sole occupant, received fatal injuries in the crash. Troopers are investigating the vehicles speed as a contributing factor in the crash.
