Head-On Fatal Crash SR-45 (Updated)

On October 28, 2022, at approximately 20:32 hours, dispatched notified UHP of a head-on collision on SR-45 near MM 32, at the green river bridge about 10 miles south of Naples Utah. A white Mitsubishi Lancer was traveling southbound when it crossed the center line into the northbound lane and struck a white Chevrolet Silverado head-on. The single-occupant driver of the Lancer was not wearing a seat belt and sustained fatal injuries on impact. The single-occupant driver of the Silverado and sole occupant was treated on the scene and was released without significant injury. The crash is still under investigation.
