Media Alert

From Our Family To Yours

Friday May 28, 2021

For immediate release:

The Utah Highway Patrol family has a strong plea for Utah families – to stay safe on Utah’s roadways this summer.

UHP Introduces “From our Family to Yours” video message.

The “100 deadliest days” of summer will begin this Memorial Day and UHP’s message to Utah’s families is clear – drive safe this summer. Drive sober and alert, buckle up, avoid distractions behind the wheel and drive at or below the posted speed limits. To spread the message, our UHP family has created a video highlighting the unique work our troopers in the field are undertaking and having each trooper take a moment to share a piece of our overall message.

Sergeant Evan Kirby will be available for media interviews today concerning that message and UHP’s overall enforcement plan as we head into the “100 deadliest days”.
