Fatal pedestrian crash in Logan City

Tuesday November 7, 2023

On Monday, November 6, 2023, at about 5:35 pm, A 58 year old female was jogging westbound on 1400 North at about 750 East in Logan. A Dodge Dakota pickup was eastbound approaching the same location and had just passed a semi before moving back to the right lane. It was reported that right after the truck moved to the right lane, the female cut south across eastbound lanes and was struck by the Dodge. The jogger was transported to an area hospital in critical condition but died shortly after. The driver of the Dodge pickup was not injured. This crash is still being investigted to verify witness reports.

Eastbound lanes were closed for the investigation.
