Fatal crash on US-89 and Crestwood Rd in Kaysville
At 8 pm on September 16th, 2020, two motorcycle riders were traveling southbound on US-89 at Crestwood Road in Kaysville. One male rider on one bike and a female on another. A driver of a passenger car was traveling northbound On US-89 and made a left turn from a left turn lane directly in front of the motorcycles. Both riders struck the passenger car. The female was taken by ambulance to the hospital, the male rider died at the scene. The driver of the car was uninjured.
The deceased driver of the motorcycle was Brian Ted Hepworth, Age 64, of North Salt Lake.
