Fatal Crash on US-6 at MM 195 (Updated)

 On September 9, 2023, at approximately 1118 hours, two vehicles collided in a head-on collision on US-6 near mile marker 195 causing a fatality. A passenger car was traveling eastbound and drifted out of its lane to the left into oncoming traffic. The passenger car then struck minivan head-on in the westbound lanes. The driver of the passenger car was not wearing their seat belt and sustained fatal injuries. The driver of the minivan was transported to a hospital by medical helicopter. A passenger in the minivan was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
