Fatal Crash on SR-18 in Washington County
On Saturday, April 20, 2024 at about 11:59 pm, a white 2009 Dodge Ram was traveling northbound on SR-18 near milepost 40 when it drifted off the right shoulder. The driver over corrected back to the left, crossing the southbound lane of travel and exited the roadway. The vehicle rolled ejecting the 23-year-old male driver, who sustained fatal injury. The driver was the only occupant in the vehicle. Speed and possible DUI are being investigated as possible contributors.
