Fatal Crash on SR-10 in Emery County (Updated 8/24/21)
On Wednesday, 8/18/21 at about 1:50 pm a white Nissan Pathfinder, driven by a 16 year old male, was traveling south on SR-10 near milepost 46 when it crossed the centerline and struck a northbound semi-truck head-on. The 16 year old was killed instantly. The semi veered off the roadway to the west and came to rest. The driver of the semi sustained minor injuries. Lane closures were in affect for about two and a half hours for investigation and cleanup. The cause for the driver leaving his lane is still under investigation.
