Initial Description:A 2007 International Harvester was traveling eastbound at the Peterson overpass in Morgan County. The truck was pulling a 53 foot trailer of food product. For unknown reasons, the semi left its lane to the right, struck the cement barrier two time, then rolled onto its passenger side. The truck and trailer unit slid down the roadway where sparks and heat ignited fuel leaking from the tanks. The tractor was quickly engulfed in flames and the single occupant was unable to escape. The fire consumed the entire tractor unit.
The deceased driver is Jimmie Grundie, age 59 of Brigham City.
