Initial Description:

At about 1356 hours, a red Dodge Durango was traveling northbound on I-15 near milepost 110, between the two exits of Beaver City. An isolated hail storm covered the roadway in the area of the crash. The Durango skidded out of control and off the right shoulder, due to traveling too fast for the conditions on the slushy road. The Durango rolled onto its left side with the roof impacting a large freeway sign. The sign post caused extensive damage, crushing the roof. There were two female occupants in the vehicle, both properly restrained. The impact killed the passenger. The driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to Beaver Valley Hospital by ambulance.

The deceased passenger is Coralie Gay Toone Duncan, age 62, from Pocatello, ID.
