Fatal crash near MM 294 on SR-6

Initial Description:
A white 1994 Infiniti was eastbound on SR-6 near milepost 294. The Infiniti crossed over the center line and impacted two tractor-trailers. The first was a 2019 Volvo and the second was a 2013 Freightliner. The male driver of the Infiniti was died on-scene due to injuries from the crash. The drivers of tractor-trailers were not injured. SR-6 was closed in both directions for approximately 2 hours during clean up and investigation. MCIT, UTIP, and SBI have all been contacted. The deceased driver was the Green River Fire Department Fire Chief and the Emery County Sheriff, Mayor, Victims Advocate, and Peer Support all have been or will be contacted.
