Fatal Crash in Washington County

Sunday October 2, 2022

On 10/2/2022 at about 4:40 PM UHP Troopers were dispatched to the scene of a single vehicle roll-over crash on southbound I-15 at about mile marker 35 (about 8 miles south of Kannaraville). When Troopers arrived, they found the sole male occupant of a Ford pickup truck had sustained fatal injuries. The investigation has shown that the pickup was hauling two trailers (one travel travel trailer, and one utility trailer loaded with a UTV). The second trailer began to whip and caused the pickup to veer off the right side of the road. The trailers became detatched and the pickup truck rolled over. The driver was restrained but sustained fatal injuries. Pictures and identification will be released pending notification.
