Fatal Crash I-15 NB at MP 220

Tuesday October 11, 2022

Juab County – On October 11, 2022, at 6:41 AM. A van traveling North on I-15 at mile marker 220 left the roadway, over-corrected, then traveled across both northbound travel lanes and off the right shoulder. The van rolled multiple times. The driver who was unrestrained was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced deceased as a result of his injuries. Speed and fatigue are being investigated as contributors to the crash. No other vehicles were involved in the crash, and the driver was traveling alone.
