A white 2003 Ford Excursion with Colorado temporary registration was traveling west in the number one travel lane of I-70. Near milepost 157–about four miles west of Green River, the vehicle departed (south) from its westbound lane of travel. The vehicle traveled briefly on the median’s westbound shoulder. The vehicle over-turned at least one complete time and came to final rest–upright–facing south. There were two adult occupants, a man and woman, in the vehicle and neither were restrained. Both occupants were ejected from the vehicle while it was over-turning. Starla J Leal, age 38 of Huntington Beach, CA died on scene. The man, Trevor J Manning, age 29 of Huntington Beach, CA succumbed to his injuries a short time later at a local area hospital.
