Double fatal crash on US-6 in Utah County near milepost 206

Initial Description:
On Friday, July 26, 2019, at about 2027 hours, a tan Chevy Silverado was traveling eastbound on SR-6 at mile post 206.3 in the no.1 eastbound lane. Witnesses reported that for an unknown reason, the truck spun out in the eastbound lanes and went off the roadway to the right. The vehicle then rolled down the embankment about 150 feet off the road. Road conditions at the time were wet but it is unknown if it was still raining. There were two adult male occupants in the vehicle and both were ejected as the truck rolled. Right now, it is not known which male occupant was the driver. There is no evidence of impairment at this time. Killed in the rollover were Shaun L. Begay, 31, of Tuba City, Arizona and Sherman Begay, 29, also of Tuba City, Arizona. Sherman was killed as the vehicle rolled and Shaun died while en route to the hospital. Lane restrictions were in place during the investigation but the scene is now clear.
