Critical Injury Crash on I-15 at MM 264 in Provo Turns Fatal

On February 17th, 2021, the female driver of a Toyota Corolla was southbound on I-15 in Provo approaching milepost 264 at about 8:50 am this morning. For an unknown reason, the driver drifted into the right shoulder barrier. After hitting the barrier, the Corolla slid back into oncoming traffic and was hit by an approaching semi in a T-bone style collision. The solo-occupant female driver of the Corolla was transported to a hospital where on February 19th, 2021 she succumbed to the injuries she sustained in the collision with the semi.

The deceased driver of the Corolla is 23-year-old Makenna Goodwin of Saratoga Springs.
