Additional details on a serious crash on I-15 at MM 279 in Utah County on Friday night

Initial Description:
        A silver hatchback driven by a 19 yr old female was northbound on I-15 near MM 279 in Utah County. The driver drove off the road to the left and struck the concrete barrier in the center median. The vehicle crossed all lanes, went off the road to the right and struck the concrete barrier.  The vehicle was occupied by only the 19 yr old female driver who is still in critical condition as of this post (10/28/19). She was unrestrained at the time of the crash. Troopers are investigating impairment as a factor in the crash. A Vape pen containing THC oil was found inside the passenger compartment of the vehicle.
