Accident US-189 MM 16
On September 19, 2021, at approximately 10:00 am, a semi with double tankers hauling lime was traveling northbound on US-189 near mile marker 16. The semi left the roadway and overturned blocking the northbound travel lanes. There were no injuries to the driver and distracted driving is being investigated as a contributing factor. The tankers hauling the lime were not compromised.
