Double Fatality in Spanish Fork Canyon (Updated 8/9/21)

On Saturday August 7, 2021 at 9:39 PM, a Mazda-3 passenger car with two occupants was traveling eastbound on US-6 at milepost 182 when it crossed into the westbound lane for an unknown reason. The Mazda struck a westbound Audi A5 passenger car head-on. Both the driver and passenger of the Mazda were killed in the collision. The driver and passenger of the Audi were transported by air ambulance in with serious but non life threatening condition and are expected to survive. All occupants of both vehicles were properly restrained.
