I-215 W. 2800 S. Trooper Involved Accident
On August 1, 2021, a Sergeant with the Utah Highway Patrol was investigating an abandoned vehicle in relation to another incident near 2800 South on I-215 West. While the Sgt. was conducting his investigation another vehicle struck the rear of the Sgt.’s vehicle. The Sgt. was seated in his vehicle at the time of the crash. The Sgt. and the occupants of the other vehicle were all transported from the scene to local area hospitals. The West Valley City Police Department will be conducting the investigation.
