Fatal Crash on SR-40 at MM 152

Initial Description: 
      A 93′ blue Chevy pickup, with one occupant, was traveling westbound on SR-40 at MM 152. A 14′ Ford Focus, with two occupants, was traveling eastbound on SR-40 at MM 152. The Chevy made a southbound turn onto 4625 East, failing to yield to the Ford Focus, causing a collision. The passenger of the Ford Focus, Mr. Curtis Gray, Age 71 of Fruita, CO, was extricated with a suspected broken hip and transported to AVMC. He was later transported to SLC via helicopter. During the flight, he succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the Chevy pickup was transported to AVMC with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the Ford Focus was transported to AVMC in serious, but stable, condition.
