Cache County Fatal Crash(Updated)

Wednesday July 5, 2023

On Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at approximately 7:45 am, a Ford F-150 was southbound on SR-23 near the intersection of 4600 N. A Polaris Ranger was westbound, crossing SR-23 at the same location. The driver of Polaris allowed the lead vehicle of two to pass by and then attempted to cross SR-23 between vehicles. The Ford struck the Ranger broadside, ejecting the driver. The 45-year-old male driver of the Polaris sustained critical injuries and died at the scene. Our condolences go out to all those affected by this tragic incident.

Lanes were restricted in the intersection for approximately 3 hours during the investigation.
