Crash in Wasatch County results in one fatality.
On Saturday, July 2, 2022, at about 6:41 am, a 2000 Ford Ranger was traveling northbound on SR-189 near milepost 24 and Deer Creek State Park. For an unknown reason, the vehicle left the roadway to the right. The vehicle over-corrected back across the roadway and rolled down the southbound traffic side of the embankment. The single 56-year-old male occupant was unrestrained and was ejected during the crash. The driver suffered fatal injuries. Traffic was alternated one way for a period of time but eventually closed for 30-40 minutes for crash investigation.
