A Cut Above: The DPS Aero Bureau

Our Department’s Aero Bureau is a crucial component to law enforcement and search & rescue operations across Utah. From Logan to remote parts of Garfield county, the team of tactical flight officers and pilots are courageously assisting in search and rescue operations and law enforcement activities.  As the only law enforcement helicopter in the state of Utah, their missions continue to increase each year. Luckily for residents and visitors to the state, the team is highly trained and on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
