Fatal Accident Trappers Loop MM 6 (Updated 10/4/21)

On October 3, 2021, at approximately 1237 hours, a 2001 Dodge pickup truck towing a trailer was southbound on Trappers Loop near mile marker 6. The pickup truck left the roadway to the right and the driver attempted to correct and go back onto the roadway. However, the trailer and pickup overturned. The driver of the pickup sustained fatal injuries and a passenger in the vehicle was not injured. Lane closures affected Trappers Loop for approximately 2 hours for investigation and cleanup.
