The Driver License Archive Section
The Archives section within the Driver License Division is responsible for putting all the documents into the Content Manager System.
Last year the Archives section processed 4,668,045 pages. These pages included applications, address changes, citations and clearances, DUI’s, MVR, FR case files, courses, returned mail and various other miscellaneous items. The section has 4 scanners and 13 total employees.
Interesting note: The section must prep, scan, edit and validate every one of those documents to ensure they are added to Content Manager correctly. If we take that into consideration then the you could say they processed, 18,672,180 documents last year.
