Somali Refugee and UHP Cadet Honored by Community

A special member of the Utah Highway Patrol (UHP) was honored by Salt Lake City during its annual World Refugee Day Celebration on June 20 at the Sorenson Unity Center. UHP Cadet Daud Eftin.was honored at the luncheon for his outstanding support of the refugee community in Utah. Originally from Somalia, Daud is a refugee himself and is currently working with the UHP to become a future trooper.

Congratulations to Daud!
